thanks soo much to all of you who have voted for me-you got me to the final round! keep voting! you guys rock. I'm making new layouts *next weekend* I swear! and a lot of them. I'm super stressed right now though because our huge english research paper is due this week, I have to read like 100 pages in a book by tuesday, I have an english test tomorrow, and I'm taking the ACT saturday. but after the ACT I'll hopefully have some time. <3 you guys-you rock!

oh and ALSO-i just scheduled my visit to NYC. I am doing my senior project there at kate spade! i'm leaving may 22ish and i'm sooooo excited!!!! gah I can't wait!
and finally, I was having this discussion about harry potter versus twilight. and i'm sorry but i think harry potter is farrrr superior. I mean twilight is ok, but it's just your typical unoriginal stupid girl falls crazy in love with stupid boy who happens to be a vampire. but harry potter is so unique and amazing. i'm pretty much obsessed.

gahh I have to read like an entire book tonight for journalism, and then 40 pages of another book for english. shoot, how am I supposed to finish? and I have exams this week. and today at swim lessons I had a lesson like every time. I used to teach like 1 hour even though I was there for 4 hours. (I'd still get paid 4 hours). But now I have lessons Alllllll the time. I mean I guess I was spoiled before but it's just annoying. crap I have to do my homework. Sorry I don't have any stuff to post I just felt like letting you guys in on my life story. fun fun.

new layouts (1, 2, 3, 4)! ok i'm so upset because I made this sweet div background for a layout...but I can't get the code to work and it's making me sooo mad. ugh I hate divs. they are really annoying. but i will put up another layout later. hey if anyone has a suggestion seriously let me know and i'll probably make it!
oh and i'm thinking of making a vip list, but i'm not sure b/c i dont even have that many sisters. but who cares lol. just ask if you're interested and i'll let you know. but i'm not positive i'll make one yet either, so...

omg you guys i'm soooo soryy it's been so long. basically i've had swim meets every weekend for the last three weekends. and we had districts, which i didn't do too well. so it was a bit depressing. but i'm just glad to be done finally. anyways, i've also been teaching more swim lessons, and i've had a book report, research paper, journalism feature, newspaper articles, art projects, spanish projects, and just a buttload of lame projects due and so i've been pretty busy. but this weekend i should pretty much be free so new layout fo shoo :)!

so anyways, funny story. we have to do a persuasive essay for english (on anything we want...), and my topic is why marijuana should be legalized. and so ever since i gave my teacher my topic, she's been glaring at me and ignoring me etc... so i really think she hates my topic. i mean i don't actually smoke it i swear. plus if i did it be pretty stupid to write a paper on it, i mean it's like asking to be caught. but all my friends are making fun of me and they're telling other teachers. my old govt. teacher heard and was like "oh amy would..." and he thought i was going to join the pot party (which is an actual political party, btw. look it up it's kinda funny). but anyways, that's my extremely random story for the day and if anyone was kind enough to read it, i <3 you forever.

Ok guess what?!?!!? I just got this thing in the mail about a leadership conference in NYC this summer that they accepted me for! I want to go sooo bad because I love New York City, and plus it would give me an introduction to business which is what I want to major in and I really need leadership qualifications for my college applications. The only thing is it's over $2000. I'm hoping my mom would pay part of it b/c it's academic and maybe part for a birthday present. And I've seen other NYC/Chicago summer programs and they were between $8000 and $10,000 so this is a much better deal! Gahhhhh I want to go so bad!
Well I probably won't be making any layouts until next weekend because I have homework and whenever I start making a layout it takes me forever because I'm such a perfectionist. But I'll still come on and reply to comments and stuff. BTW I fixed some things on the Ross and Rachel layout. Ok I'm off to teach swim lessons!

Well as you can see, I've been busy! I got a new main which I like a lot better because it seems more organized. Anddddd I made two new layouts for you ((be mine and rainbow doodles)).
Ugh I feel like this site is just DEAD. I mean are my layouts really that bad?? I've been trying to go around and get more sisters/enter contests and stuff so hopefully that'll bring more people. I really would love support/comments but I don't want to be one of those sites that is like "no more layouts until I get 28940134 comments and subscribers." ughh it's just so frustrating.
Umm well I had kind of a crappy day. I had a swim meet. And then I came home and I was about to go to see He's Just Not That Into You with a few people. But my parents wouldn't let me drive and I'm not on the way for any of my friends. So I couldn't go. And it just makes me mad because I've had my license for 7 months and my temps for a year before that. It's not even bad weather it's like 40 degrees. Ughhhhh they make me so mad.
But it's good for you guys because I had time to make you all this new stuff haha!

New NYC (Yes, I AM obsessed with New York City!) and FRIENDS. If you were wondering, I probably won't update during the week. Sorry I just don't have the time.
Also-I was wondering if anyone would want a tutorial on how to make an image map. You would have to have some basic html skills, and it would probably mostly be helpful if you made layouts. But I'll make one if anyone is interested. Also, just ask if you are ever wondering what fonts I used and I'll let you know!
ok that's it! I might redo the main layout soon though. I know I just got it but I don't think I like it that much.

Hey guys, I actually got two new layouts! A new blue stripes/patterns layout here [which I made the background myself :)], and an NYC one here! Woohoo! Let me know if you like them!
As for today, I had to teach swim lessons, and then I had swim practice right after, so I was at the pool pretty much all day. I was working on my breaststroke at practice and I think it's better now because it turns out I was doing something really wrong before. So hopefully that brings my time down because I really have to speed up my stroke.
Anyways, please remind me if we were sisters and I'll link you again!
